Children of Our Church

Normally we meet with our house church Cautulaca on Sunday mornings. I work with the kids and have Children Church while Shannon teaches the adults. The following are pictures of the kids that come on a regular basis although I have had up to 13 kids. Public school starts again on Monday so I think more kids will begin coming once they get back into a routine. Tyler especially loves going to church and getting to play with the kids. They are all very patient with my Spanish and are eager to learn.

This is Eliel. He helps me a lot on Sundays. He has been great to encourage Tyler and to include him in their play. We can thank him for teaching Tyler how to swing from the trees.

Lauri- a regular on Sunday mornings.

Rober- Lauri’s brother throwing a wheel down the mountain. This is one of Tyler’s favorite games.

This is Efran. He helps with the younger kids on Sunday mornings. He is also Eliel’s brother.

Rey and friend. As you can tell, Rey is quite the character!

Emma’s favorite part of church are the 8 week old baby puppies. She “accidently” feed her food to them and the mom on Sunday although you can see by the next picture that they needed it worse than Emma.

My least favorite part of church is seeing the momma dog. Don’t judge the owners too harshly; they don’t look much healthier than the dog.

This is how this child came to church- barefoot and bleeding. He is the owner of the dogs.
