It’s the Little Things

God’s in the little things… Sometimes I forget that.  He’s in the laughter and long walks. He's in talks with friends and the spring rain.  It’s easy to get overwhelmed by the hard things or even the annoying things… like day three of electrical outages or being from family. But as we had Bible Study in the dark last week, I was reminded of the little things. The small blessing that reminds us of His goodness. The ones that really matter. Let me share just a few from this past week.

A precious little four-year-old brought me some flowers for no reason.  

An office full of kids 

Drizzle in the dry season (seriously, this may be more than a “little thing”)

Lanterns in the dark

Finding a fallen tree that I can turn into furniture

A full week with my parents

Hot chocolate in the quiet of the woods

Sweet boys who carried Bella out of said woods after spraining her ankle 

A neighbor who bought me Dr. Pepper

Homemade ice cream (thanks, Shannon)

Wild macaws in my yard

Flowers picked from my garden in my birthday vase (thanks, Gracia)
