Lenca Hunger Farm Catalog
61 Isaiah believes in breaking cycles of poverty. One of the ways we do that is through our Lenca Hunger Farm. We use the farm as a resource for those in need by helping people with food and work. You can help us feed and provide work for families and individuals by purchasing a gift for the farm.
How it works:
Pick a gift(s) in honor or remembrance of your loved ones. Click the “Buy” button, enter in the amount for your gift(s), and then select the fund “Gift Catalog” in the drop down menu. Then be sure to select your gift in the “sub gift fund” category. In the memo section, feel free to leave us a note. After buying your gift(s), print out and give your loved ones a certificate showing how their gift(s) helps others.
Through your generosity, the Lenca Hunger Farm can provide more work and food for those in need. It also gives us the opportunity to invite those in need to walk alongside us.

Buy a Bee Hive & Bee Box
The one and a half acres of coffee on the Lenca Hunger Farm is just finishing up with its first major harvest, which means we have a lot to accomplish to lay a good foundation for next year’s crop.
One crucial aspects of this is to acquire bee’s. Coffee will flower two to four times more if it is pollinated properly. In order to have a high yielding coffee tree we need significantly more pollinators. Bee’s improve both the quality and amount of coffee produced while also producing their own steady supply of honey, which can also help to increase the profitability of the Hunger Farm.

Buy a Stihl FS 220 Weed Wacker
With an average annual rainfall of over 60 inches the grass grows rapidly on our 8 acres of pasture. Four of these acres must be kept groomed short because they grow over the buried copper wires producing the radio signal around the Radio Rio de Dios tower. The FS220 has all of the power and capability we need to keep up with mowing the grass to maintain our cleared acreage and protect the strength of the Radio’s signal and impact.
