We are happy and blessed to have 8 summer missionaries working with us this summer. Please pray for them as they walk with us this summer and serve the teams coming.
McCayla
McCayla Fleming is 22 years old and a senior at Dallas Baptist University. She desires to learn about people and to help people, which is why she is studying Psychology. She has been to Gracias, Honduras twice with the Avenue Church and Her love for the country grew through those experiences. She desires to spread the good news and for them to understand the incredible love of Christ.
Hannah
My name is Hannah and I am from Fort Worth. I am currently studying Spanish Education at Howard Payne University. I have served as an intern with Super Summer for the past 2 summers and that’s how I came to know Shannon and heard about his ministry. I am super excited to be serving in Honduras this summer! Even though I’m a Spanish major I am not fluent in Spanish… I’m hoping this summer will help.
Megan Ritsema
I am from Traverse City, Michigan. I graduated with a degree in elementary education and taught at ALCS for three years. Last summer, I moved back to Michigan where I am currently teaching at a small Christian school. It has been a huge blessing to be closer to friends and family this year after having lived so far away for quite a while. I have missed Honduras though and am looking forward to serving with 61 Isaiah Ministries this summer.
Gatlin Dollar
I’m Gatlin Dollar, I attend First Baptist Red Oak and am the freshman boys youth leader for the youth group. I just recently graduated I the year 2015 from Lifeschool Red Oak, currently I am working full time in order to save up money for college next fall. The college I will be attending is Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. I’ll be studying for an undergraduate degree in Biblical Studies, Biblical Education will be my major. I am also in the process of becoming a Chaplains Assistant in the Texas Civil Defense. I’m super excited to have this opportunity to go serve in Honduras, because what I eventually want to do is to become a full time missionary. I also can’t wait to see what God has in store for this experience, I’m sure he will make a bigger impact than any of us could ever imagine possible. Lastly, please be praying for all of us who will be going to Honduras this summer. Thank you so much and God bless.

Looks like an awesome group. GODS blessings on all of them, and the work they will do this summer in Honduras. I’m so proud of Shelby (she’s my grandaughter) and the commitment to GOD, and the love she has for the people in Honduras.
